Two Well-Appointed Lodges, Perfect for Groups…
Because of our unique set up and location, Rock and River’s Group Rental program has become extremely popular! Options include renting just the Climber’s Lodge, just the Guide’s House, or both buildings together. Our facilities work well for family reunions, a group of friends, small families, outing clubs, schools, corporate retreats etc. We’ve had all of the above stay here before and have had great success tailoring the stay to each individual group’s needs (including flexible pricing options).
We recommend calling us if you have a group looking for a great lodging experience to discuss options. Please note – we no longer rent out individual rooms nor provide breakfast except during “Throwback periods” (see the News and Updates button on our Homepage for dates). We also have a 3 night minimum during the months of June, July and August for all group rentals…
A rates table is listed below followed by a description and photos of each building…

Groups have full kitchen privileges.
A flat Gratuity on group rentals is applied as follows: $140 for the Climber’s Lodge, $160 for the Guide’s House and $300 for both buildings. The length of stay is irrelevant.
Climber’s Lodge – The Climber’s Lodge was built from the homestead’s original barn and has three private rooms, a larger, group sleeping room with 6 single beds (no bunk beds), an indoor climbing wall, free high-speed wireless internet, a kitchen, as well as a central living room complete with a great stone fireplace (wood is provided). In addition, rental of this facility includes exclusive use of our nearby Riverside Leanto and fire pit. The Climber’s Lodge comfortably sleeps up to 12 guests.
Guide’s House – The Guide’s House was built in 1992 with a two-room addition (deluxe, family-sized rooms) added in 2001. This building has six bedrooms, several decks, a large dining room, TV room, rec. room with ping-pong and foosball, free wireless internet and also houses the gear and classrooms used in our guiding operation (accessed through a private/separate entrance). The bedrooms in this building used to be rented on an individual room by room basis (B and B style) but we now mostly rent the whole building as a group rental (sleeps 14) or in conjunction with our Climber’s Lodge (sleeps 26 total).
