Transporting your vehicle is a simple process; however, the following are useful tips that will prepare you for a safe and efficient transport:

Remove personal items in the vehicle.
The cabin should be free of any personal items. Transporters are not responsible for the loss of any items left in the vehicle. Auto shippers are not licensed to transport household items; thus, they can be fined for accepting to transport any content in the vehicle.

Leave some gas in the tank.
About ¼ tank of gas only is necessary for transit.

 Check your antifreeze levels.
If you're shipping a vehicle from a warm climate to a cold climate, be sure it has a sufficient amount of antifreeze. This will protect it from the cold weather.

 Disable security alarm system.
Vehicle security alarm system should be disabled during the transport.

 Check tire pressure.
Tires should be inflated to their recommended pressure level to insure safe loading and unloading.

  Wash your vehicle
Your auto transport professional will inspect the vehicle for damages including scratches prior to accepting and loading your vehicle on the transport truck. A clean vehicle will ensure an accurate and true condition of the vehicle prior to loading; thus, eliminating disputes.
